Congratulations to the East End Wings U12 A Ringette Team for their Gold Medal performance during 2013/2014. The team had a fantastic season, winning four tournaments before capturing the Winnipeg Ringette League title with a 4-1 victory over Southdale. In a season that started with the tragic loss of friend, father and husband Brad Little, these girls were able to show a level of dedication, skill and sportsmanship that made all of Transcona very proud as they ended their year on top. A very special thanks to all the coaches and manager for helping our girls reach their potential this year.

April 1 will see the start of the long awaited expansion. The 1st step is to build a temporary parking lot on the existing soccer and baseball diamonds. When the frost finally leaves the ground will allow for the removal of the topsoil and start of the underground utilities. The goal of the work in the summer is to erect the structure before november1 to allow the trades to work inside for the winter. There will be issues with access ability to the existing facility due to the underground work which may neccitate utalizing other entrances to the building.
