Public Skating

 

The City Of Winnipeg Public skating will run from October 3rd - December 13th and again from January 2nd - March 14th. Saturdays from 6:30 - 7:30 PM, and Sundays from 1:30 - 2:30 PM.

There will be a limit to 30 participants, those wishing to attend will have to sign up through the city of Winnipeg's 311 site. A link will be posted once available

  • We strongly recommend the use of a proper-fitting, CSA-approved hockey helmet with a face mask for all age groups.
  • All public skating is provided free of charge.
  • Only figure or hockey skates are permitted on the ice.
  • Due to safety and liability concerns, we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs, strollers, sleds or toboggans on the ice during public skating.
  • Hockey sticks and pucks are not allowed during public skating.

 

Afternoon Skate for parent & child (5 and under), and seniors will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. starting October 13 th and running to March. There will be a 30 person limit.
